Tina Peters

Mrs. Tina Peters

Hello, my name is Tina Peters and I am one of the Junior High School Counselors. I have been a School Counselor since 1995 and I have been at Hollidaysburg since 2002. I received my bachelor's and Master's degree in School Counseling from The Pennsylvania State University.  I always enjoy working with the students and parents who are a part of the Hollidaysburg School District Community. I provide individual counseling, SAP (Student Assistance Program) support, classroom guidance lessons, and teacher-parent consultations. I believe the role of a School Counselor is to work to maximize student's academic, career, and emotional success and to promote access and equity for all students.

                Ms. Keely Jones

Hello, my name is Keely Jones and I serve as one of the Junior High School Counselors. I have worked as a School Counselor for Hollidaysburg Area School District since 2018. Prior to working for Hollidaysburg, I served as a Junior High School Counselor in South Carolina for 3 years.  I received my Master's degree in School Counseling from the California University of Pennsylvania.  I am a  proud University of Pittsburgh Alum (Go Pitt!).  I am very excited to work with our students and families in the Hollidaysburg Community!

I provide a multitude of services to the students, parents, teachers, and staff at Hollidaysburg Junior High School. These services include but are not limited to Individual Counseling, SAP (Student Assistance Program) support, Classroom Guidance Lessons, and Teacher -Parent Consultation. I believe the role of a School Counselor is to educate and foster all students' academic, career, and social/ emotional development in a partnership with parents/guardians, school staff, and Hollidaysburg community members.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, (and my corgi, Butters). I am a  superfan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates.  You can often find me running after the school day. I have run 5 full marathons and countless half marathons. My favorite races have been the New York City Marathon and the Walt Disney World Marathon.  I am currently training for the Boston Marathon that is taking place in October of 2021.

Mrs. Veronica Sell

Hello! I am Veronica Sell, Junior High School Counselor. I have been a School Counselor for the Hollidaysburg Area School District since 2000. At the start of my career, I was an English teacher at the middle school level and was a college instructor in writing, public speaking, and psychology. For several years, I was also an advisor at Penn State University. My favorite part of being a School Counselor is working with students to help them determine their career goals.

Outside of the counseling office, I am one of the advisors for the Beating the Odds group - Project NASA. Outside of school, I am very involved with our farm. We are currently training two Australian shepherds to work as therapy dogs! After a long break, I am also back in the saddle, working on my riding and driving skills with a wonderful horse, Bella. We also have an English mastiff and other horses and critters.
